Meet Your Hosts
The Red Rose Inn is lovingly owned and operated by Dan and Carrie Hill, a couple with a passion for hospitality and history. Originally from Washington state, they moved to Bardstown to embrace a slower pace of life and be closer to their children. With years of experience in property management and construction, combined with a shared love of cooking, Dan and Carrie bring their expertise to every aspect of the inn. They are dedicated to ensuring each guest feels at home and enjoys an authentic, personalized experience that reflects the charm of Bardstown.
A Historical Home
The Red Rose Inn is a 201-year-old, early 1800s style home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Featuring five decorative fireplaces and period-specific craftsmanship, including work by Master Craftsman Alexander Moore, the inn beautifully preserves its historical roots while offering modern amenities for a comfortable stay.
